HER WORK

Dr. Ari is an award-winning scholar whose work guides others toward healthier communication, deeper understanding, and greater human flourishing. She serves as a Communication Studies professor at George Fox University and specializes in how couples and individuals communicate about sensitive topics such as sexual health, religion, and chronic invisible illness. Her research appears in Personal Relationships, Communication Education, and the Journal of Communication and Religion.

HER HEART

She believes that communication shapes how people see themselves and one another, influencing physical, spiritual, and emotional health. She delights in helping others grow in clarity, confidence, and compassion as they engage conversations that matter. Ari lives in Portland, Oregon, with her husband Matthew. Together, they enjoy exploring the Pacific Northwest and finding ways to contribute to healing and wholeness in their own lives and the lives of others.
